Ruleset

These are where most of the configuration takes place in Prefactor. They govern how pools will operate, how authentication will work and what information is stored for identities.

They contain:

• a list of factors used for authentication
• a list of methods of authentication: each of these is a combination of factors which is enough to authenticate a user
• a list of authentication plans: these named plans govern how logins, registration, password resets etc occur and what flow the user will be taken through
